Jill Griffin, Senior Associate Solicitor
Originally from Offaly, Jill graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 with a First Class Honours degree in Law and German (LL.B). She also studied law at Humboldt University Berlin as an Erasmus student. Jill joined Farrell McElwee Solicitors in 2014 and completed her traineeship as a solicitor, being admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in December 2017.
Jill has extensive litigation experience and has concluded numerous complex medical negligence and personal injury cases. She has excellent practical knowledge, particularly in medical negligence, personal injury, equity, judicial review, debt collection and commercial matters. A strong advocate, Jill manages cases in the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court. Jill is also responsible for employment law matters (employer and employee) at Farrell McElwee Solicitors. This role includes drafting contracts of employment and related policies, TUPE issues and appearing at mediation and adjudication hearings before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court.
