Joseph Farrell, Managing Partner
A native of Crettyard and Graiguecullen, Joseph graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick in 1999. He subsequently obtained an LL.M at Trinity College, Dublin in 2000 and qualified as a solicitor in 2003. Following a short period working in a commercial firm in Australia, he returned to Ireland in 2007 and established the practice of Joseph P. Farrell Solicitors. In 2015 the firm was renamed Farrell McElwee Solicitors (and subsequently Farrell McElwee Solicitors LLP). Joseph has extensive experience in the areas of conveyancing, criminal law and District Court family law. Joseph also lectures in legal and regulatory affairs on the BSc (Hons.) in Brewing and Distilling course in the South East Technological University.
